Getting Back into the Swing of Things

Hi friends!

I’ve been pretty MIA for the last month and that’s due to a few reasons: 1) Work really started to pick up, naturally. 2) I haven’t been cooking as much since my last post because I had so much food in my fridge and then I started eating out when Derek and later Jackie came to visit. 3) I’ve been hurt and thus not doing much running/anything that could make my quad feel worse.
4) I’ve been enjoying life and living so much in the moment that I’ve put off posting…oopsies 😉

However, I feel now that I should share what I’ve been up to through some pictures I’ve taken over the last few weeks! I wish I had more but hopefully this gives a taste of my adventures over the last month 🙂

  1. Hey,
Sorry to hear about your quad injury!
Just dropping by to leave a friendly reminder to always exercise your hip flexors! Most athletes of all types are quad dominant, which can lead to strain on the knee, and ACL tearing. The best way to prevent those knee injuries is to just strengthen those hips! (Yes this is my crusade, raising hip flexor awareness)
Hope all continues well for you!
    Mike
