I realize it’s been a long time since I last posted. It was a lot harder to keep up with blogging in college and I let it go for over a year and a half. Since then I’ve graduated from Harvard with honors in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. What a mouthful!
Now I’m back in California for a few more weeks (I’ve been home since graduation) before I return to Boston for my job as a life science consultant! I’m greatly enjoying my time at home. There’s just something about being able to eat avocados every day and fresh berries and the California sun that is so relaxing. Currently, I’m training for a half marathon that takes place in two and a half weeks! I convinced my parents to run it with me so we’ve all been training together 🙂 So much fun!
I’ve spent most of my day hanging out with my best friends from high school watching the World Cup and making food. I prepared a delicious salad from the food in Kiele’s refrigerator and Kiele made us a very yummy panini that we shared. I made a salad with spinach and arugula base with blackberries, blueberries, beets, goat cheese, fresh mozzarella, carrots, raspberries, and garnished with almonds and pesto vinaigrette. Kiele made us a turkey panini with artichoke hearts, pesto, balsamic vinegar, and goat cheese.
Now after a filling and healthy lunch we are heading downtown to walk around! Then it’s off to the gym!
Have a great rest of your day!
