After breakfast this morning we both decided it was necessary to take naps knowing that we had until about noon, so we both did and decided to take lunch not long after we woke up. Working out really makes us hungry! We’re sure you can guess what we had for lunch, SALADS. I (Jess) had one of my pre-made Trader Joe’s salads because at the beginning of the week I bought five of them and I need to finish them before I go home this weekend. Although my salad looks like its only a container of lettuce (some brown pieces ew), the mix-ins included cherry tomatoes hidden at the bottom, avocado, goat cheese, a few nuts and some grilled chicken. I knew I had to eat it today, otherwise it would have gone bad! I am going to Martha’s Vineyard next week and I am so excited! It will be super relaxing.
Okay, onto what Less ate. She was able to go to the dining hall and filled her plate with a little bit of baked ziti, hidden on the bottom right and a salad that had a base of romaine lettuce with tomatoes, carrots, beets, Lima beans, red onions, cheddar cheese, corn and topped with broccoli and cauliflower. Dressed with red wine vinegar and black pepper.
We are both going to be at work/class until late in the afternoon and then going to play soccer around 7pm. It’s a bit of an awkward time because we never know if we should eat before or after we play. Then, we are going to go see The Dark Knight at midnight! WE CAN’T WAIT!
