Mondays are always rough getting up. On week days we get up at 5:30 am to work out. We normally run and then lift afterwards. Today we did an endurance workout on the soccer field. The rest times between the runs were really short and that made the workout tiring. But it was a good workout. Very soccer-like.
For breakfast, I decided to go with some plain non-fat Greek yogurt. We both LOVE Greek yogurt. Plain yogurt can be kind of boring so I topped it with honey and some nuts. I also ate some frozen grapes and had a sip of some muscle milk. I needed my share of protein after a hard workout. Jess decided to go with what she considers to be a boring breakfast of Barbara’s Shredded Spoonfuls with reduced fat milk. Although she did add in a bit of Rice Krispies to make her breakfast a little more interesting.
